Review Post: Flashback to the 90’s – Fred Perry Vibes (featuring Simply Be UK) *

Review Post (2)

I don’t really do t-shirts and trainers, not often anyway, but I am always keen to try new looks and styles, and certainly with this recent hot weather we have been experiencing in the UK, comfort is definitely key with me. So when I was contacted by Simply Be UK in relation to a review post collaboration, I went casual chic and the next best thing to a t-shirt…. A t-shirt dress!

Wearing the size 26 for extra comfort

I felt like I was back in the 90’s… Not quite Fred Perry, and Puma instead of Adidas Gazelle’s, but I am sure those of a certain age get the drift!  I felt super comfy all day in this rib trim dress, a steal at £24.00, and I know it will be one of my new go to items when I am looking for something a little less restricting.  This dress can be found within their party dress range.

Having chosen the dress, I had a look in mind, and it had to be finished off with trainers (something which is not plentiful in my collection of MANY shoes)…. I went for these great classic Puma Match Lo Trainers (currently on sale) which I think finish the look off perfectly, and gives that overall 90’s vibe.

Were the 90’s your era or are you a wee whippersnapper?

  1. Oh this is lovely – I’ve been thinking about getting a slouchy, casual, jumper-style dress for autumn and think this could be awesome! It looks amazing on you!

  2. The 90s were totally my era, wanting to be Candida from Pulp, louise from sleeper or Saffron. Cords featured heavily as did my 70s tracksuit top and those metallic long skirts.
I love this look and tried a similar combo out back in the day. Your deffo slaying a 90s revival here x
