Would you think of House of Fraser when it comes to shopping for plus size clothing? No, me neither! But maybe this is about to change!
So when they contacted me to offer me an item from their plus size collection I headed on over to see what was on offer!
Although they offer many of the brands already available elsewhere on the high street and online, Evans, Taking Shape, Juna Rose to name a few, the difference is they are all under one roof…. You can shop for all your favourite brands under one roof/website, whilst browsing all their other wares!
I have been desperate to try out a jumpsuit for a while now, but I have been kinda scared… but when I saw *this one from Samya, I knew I had to give it a go…. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t look completely like the back end of a bus, and although I wonder if I should have gone for a size smaller (I am wearing the UK24 here), all in all I was very happy. Apologies for the grumpy face, I was suffering with Man Flu!
Delivery was very prompt, and came well packaged in a branded House of Fraser box…. My work colleagues thought I was very posh…. haha!
The material has plenty of stretch in it, and I decided to bring the tie to the front for a change. I felt very 80’s-esk in this, and I will be sporting it with a black waterfall cardy or a blazer I think.
Being vertically challenged the legs are a little long, but nothing someone handy with a sewing machine (not me) couldn’t do something about, and on a more conventionally sized person when it comes to inside leg measurements would be perfect!
I also got this fab large envelope *clutch, which is from Dorothy Perkins (another brand you can find at House of Fraser), and matches my boots fabulously with a swede and patent effect, but unfortunately this is no longer available…..
Did you know House of Fraser offered Plus Size clothing????????
