Theme – Summer Fun Day
It’s getting warmer in the UK and it’s nearly time for the Summer Fun Days to start. Whether it be your local village fun day, a school fayre or a party at a friend’s house, I want to see your outfits for those days out soaking up the sun
I’ve struggled with this one a little bit, but then I guess that is what it is all about…. stepping outside your comfort zone!
When the warm weather starts to creep in I like to be comfortable, there is nothing worse than being a fat bird in the heat! I’m guessing you would think a swing dress, maxi or such like, but as I have nothing in that category you haven’t already seen, I have gone with a t-shirt, which is well and truly outside my comfort zone!
You did get a little sneaky peak of this t-shirt yesterday in my Flash the Flesh post, but as I am in the office today I have teamed it with some good old faithful pull on trousers from Yours Clothing (still available here). I love these trousers for work and play as they are so comfortable, I have been getting these from Yours Clothing for years now…. As soon as one pair give up the ghost I replace them…. I’ve even been known to have two pairs on the go! The top, as mentioned in my post of yesterday, is from Primark, and I believe is currently priced at £8.00 in store… I really am not a t-shirt kinda gal, but I like the retro/rock & roll feel this t-shirt gives, and teamed with my fake converse and a neck scarf I’m ready for the beach, theme park or stoll in the countryside!
