A Dress For All Seasons *

Hey You Guys!!!!

So, I think Autumn is finally upon us, and as such, I was recently asked by New Look if I would like to take part in one of their AW15 campaigns.  I was naturally drawn to the campaign focussing on dresses…. I am a sucker for a pretty frock don’t you know?  The topic is:

“A Dress For All Seasons: How do you make a dress work  for both summer and winter? How would you style it differently as we move between the seasons?”

And I chose this….

The dress has a lovely summer feel about it, all those pinks and whites, a clear winner for any summer wardrobe, bearing your arms and legs to get as much sun to them as possible…..

I am hoping like me you can immediately see how this dress can take you into every season, this was a no brainer when choosing, this dress shouted to me as it was clear how I would style this for the cooler months….

Voila!  Just add tights and a cardi…. Simples!

I felt I kind of copped out a bit here, it was too easy to turn this dress from a summer look to an Autumn look, but I asked around a few fellow blogger buddies, and they also agreed that they always think of thick tights and cardis as layering once the temperatures drop.

I’ve also got ideas to wear my denim jacket with this dress, along with maybe my Wingz, to me there is so much you can do to take this dress into every season!

I am wearing a size 24, and it is very true to size.  The belt is just a strip of fabric, and when I wore it all day I found it did become quite creased, and not being much of a belt wearer I will probably choose not to wear it in future.

I know that there are items of clothing that very much season specific, but there are so many items you can take through the year with you, this dress being one of them!

How would you take this dress into Autumn, would you style it in a similar way, or do you have another suggestion, I would love to know!
