Simply Be Norwich Store Visit

I was recently given the opportunity to visit one of the Simply Be stores, primarily to look at the recently launched new Kelly Brook range, but obviously whilst there would check out what else was on offer.  The nearest store for me is Norwich, which is approximately 1.5hrs drive away, but due to this being my old stomping ground, and some very good friends of mine still living close by, I turned it into a bit of a day, and took my friend Louise along for some big girl dress up!

This was my first visit into any of their stores, and I am finding that there are still people out there who are not aware that Simply Be have branched into the high street and are not solely online these days.  I am thankful to Simply Be for this, even more so following recent comments made by Jamelia!

We were greeted by Bailey who promptly offered us some refreshment, and was on hand throughout our visit to help us should the need arise.

I have to say that I was very impressed with the Kelly Brook range I tried in store, sizing was true, and here are a few items we tried from the range during our visit:

Kelly Brook Zip Front Jacquard Dress – £50.00 (wearing a size 24)

Kelly Brook Soft Pink Midi Dress – £65.00 (wearing a size 24)

Albeit a little on the long side on me…. story of my life, I really loved this dress and even more so when teamed with the Angel Ribbons Lace Trim Denim Jacket (£45.00) (wearing a size 24)!  This jacket was used to compliment quite a few outfits during our stay.

Kelly Brook Textured Dress – £50.00 (wearing a size 24)

Kelly Brook Printed Belted Dress – £60.00 (wearing a size 24)

It would have been rude not to try out some of the other pretty clothes Simply Be had to offer, so Louise and I decided to do some same dress different shape pics too!

Green Floral Print Jersey Flippy Dress – £26.00 (wearing size 22 in both cases)

Collarless PU Biker Jacjet – £60.00 (wearing a size 24)

Botanical Print Jersey Swing dress WITH POCKETS! – £25.00 (wearing a size 20 in both pics)

I also managed to get Louise to step out of her comfort zone and try on a couple of maxi dresses, which she would not normally have tried, and here is one of them….. I think she looks AMAZING!

We tried LOADS more on whilst there, some good, some not so good, but I didn’t want to go overboard with the pics.

What I really liked about the store was how well it was laid out, and how awesome the changing rooms are!  Spacious, light and comfortably, I could have camped out there fore the day….. as if 2 hours wasn’t long enough…. heehee!

I was kindly given some store credit to spend as a thank you for my time and blog post, and I came away with the Kelly Brook Zip Dress (albeit for slightly better fitting I sized up to the 26), the Green Print Flippy (size 22) and the PU biker jacket (size 24), all of which have already been worn to death since getting them home.

Like I said earlier, I turned the day into a bit of a catching up with friends and had lunch with two old school chums, Michelle & Claire.  We hadn’t met up for approximately 25yrs, but you’d never have guessed it!
