Who I Saw

I spent most of the day with this lovely lady, Nikki from Natty Nikki, you may have heard us laughing quite a bit! We had such a blast….

I also caught up with a few other blogger babes along the way, as I’ve said before, these events for me are all about the social aspect!

ALL the Babes!

What I Did

It is quite hard to explain what I do at these events, they are such a blur sometimes.  I run the risk of sounding like a broken record, but it is so amazing getting together with all the people I have been lucky to meet and call my friends since I began blogging two years ago, as well as meeting new ones!

One lady I managed to meet at this particular event was……. imageTess Holliday!

I didn’t go to any of the meet and greets, the queues were either immense or I was too distracted with other things, but I still  managed to catch up with the lovely lady whilst having a chat with Katie and Hollie on the Eff Your Beauty Standards stand, and traded  buying one of her t-shirts for a selfie, how’s that for negotiation skills eh!?

I watched the first of the catwalk shows, and I have my own view on that, but needless to say, the new collections looked amazing, the models were beautiful, but it would have been nice to have some idea of what the clothes would look like on someone like me….. Diversity is the key!

Lisa Riley launched her new range, Just Be You, at the show, and here are some of my lovely friends who got the chance to model her clothes for her….

And of course there were the Brand Stands.  I did get round quite a few, and here is the Studio 8 stand, recently launched plus size range – extension of Phase 8.

I have to mention my gang I spent the night before with and travelled to and from Manchester with, again, we had such a giggle, and it is what makes these events for me….

I think it is safe to say The Curve Fashion Festival has set the bar for all future Plus Size Events, and was a huge success!

Did you go to the event, and what did you think…. Most importantly, will you go again next year?
