You know that sleeveless frock you love that is hanging in your wardrobe and you feel you can only wear it in the summer??? Not anymore!!!! I introduce to you Wingz, an ingenious little fashion gadget that makes any sleeveless item of clothing immediately sleeved, so you can now wear that summer frock all year round.
I was recently given the opportunity to chose one of the designs from the many on their website to review and tell you lovely lot all about them. I decided to go for the 3/4 Length Stretch Fitted Wingz in Black as I had a few ideas of outfits hanging in my wardrobe that this design would work well with.
Here is a picture taken from their website of what Wingz look like in the flesh.
I went for a Size 3, which fits a UK size 22-26, and the first outfit I have decided to team my Wingz up with is my Sapphire Dress from Taking Shape, which is no longer available, but here is a pic taken last summer without Wingz…..
And a pic taken here with Wingz…..
I wore these all day to work, and you would never know they were there, they just felt like they formed part of the outfit, no discomfort at all, and nobody even noticed, it just looks like part of the outfit!
There are a number of different options in the way of colour and design, I really like the chiffon floaty sleeved style, and may well be investing in some more, as I think they will get lots of wear, especially with our ever changing UK weather! Ranging from £9.00 to £24.69, they are an essential item for any wardrobe, giving you more outfits for the price of one.
Have you tried Wingz before?

Having been slightly dubious of these I am a total convert and own 3 pairs-they are brilliant x
I know what you mean, but aren’t they fab!!! x
This looks incredible – I think you’ve just solved an entire wardrobe melt down I have every summer as I hate my arms bare. Gotta get me one of these asap! :) Karen x
They are fab Karen! x
These look great and I’d love them for winter – so many dresses get relegated to the back of my wardrobe for the colder months but these could make them wearable all year round!

So glad I have found them now, I am most definitely a convert and will be restyling lots of items in my wardrobe that I wouldn’t normally wear when the temp is a bit fresher! x
I used to do my own version of this with adapted tights! I have very bad scaring, which is at it’s worst on my arms & there are occasions when I want to cover them. I will def be checking these out.
Tights…. What an ingenious idea! I may have to try that at some point too…. Glad this post has been of some help to you. S x
It’s really easy to do. Loads of guides online & with this seasons funky tights, you could make some really cool sleeves.
