Love EVERY Body is a monthly body positivity workshop, set up by the absolutely fabulous Leah, FOR ALL BODY SIZES where we will attempt to slowly chip away at the body snark which permeates the media, water cooler conversations at work, and so many of women’s thoughts. You can find more info on the workshop here.
I am really late with this month’s assignment, which happens to be skin. Some of this is just due to every day life getting in the way, but I think subconsciously it is also because I have a bit of an issue with my skin….
My facial skin around my nose has noticeable pores. I guess, I have myself to blame as I have never been one to stick to a religious skin care regime, but this does mean I have to pay very close attention to my make up and what I buy, as if I’m not careful I just draw more attention to the fact.
I can become very flushed, whether it be alcohol induced (haha), nerves, or I’m just hot, and this can cause me to feel self conscious at times, only making the matter worse obviously!
I also appear to bruise very easily these days! This pic is nothing compared to the one I had a few weeks back, and this is just from being prodded by my husband with his finger!
But on a plus side, although I am clearly starting to show signs of age, I do feel that I have been blessed in not having too many wrinkles, thanks to my natural botox…. AKA Fat, not even really any crows-feet, and I have been told on occasion I don’t look 40, which I always feel very pleased about…. Lol!
How do you feel about your skin? Are you freckled, do you have body art?

I have quite open pores too. Facial primers or even ELF’s HD powder help minimise them. I bruise really easily too, and it sucks. x x x
I’ll be giving those products a look, thanks Sweet Cheeks xxx
